Whilst not a busy tourist area, the Capitol Hotel is centrally located and within easy access to Tokyo's main attractions by either taxi or public transport. There is a metro station across the road and another just a few minutes' walk away.

With 29 floors and large scale windows the rooms offer grand views of the Tokyo skyline and surrounding city. The rooms have been described as clean, spacious and beautifully decorated with stylish, modern Japanese decor and large comfortable beds. The bathrooms are also spacious and luxurious.

The staff have been described as courteous, friendly, welcoming, attentive and accommodating. Most staff members speak English and are reportedly helpful when it comes to providing tourist information, giving directions and making recommendations for restaurants and sites to visit.

Rigid rules may inconvenience
Some guests felt frustrated and inconvenienced by certain rules and restrictions placed on using the facilities. Guests, for example, with tattoos are not permitted to use the fitness and swimming pool area, while some facilities are available to members only.
