Positive Reviews
positive:
Ideally located.
Many guests thought that because this hotel is located next to the Toyko Air Terminal, this alone made it worth the price. Guests were easily able to access both Narita and Haneda airports from here, and equally as convenient was the Suitengumai subway, which was within a short walk, and accessible by underground tunnel.
positive:
Upgrade worth the extra cost.
Guests who paid extra to stay in executive rooms weren't disappointed. With perks like exclusive check-in and dedicated guest relations service, this was a good decision for many. But perhaps the best part was the breakfast served on the top floor with memorable city views, the complimentary full bar, and free access to hotel facilities.
positive:
Excellent facilities.
Guests were especially enthusiastic about the fitness facilities, which included a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. There were no complaints from guests who enjoyed an invigorating workout, in facilities staffed by helpful personnel, with a nice ambiance.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Days gone by.
Many guests liked that Royal Park wasn't a cookie cutter hotel. But what some guests saw as unique, others saw as dated and in need of refurbishment. A bright spot, however, was that rooms were kept immaculately clean, and accommodation was generally otherwise satisfactory.
negative:
Language barrier at times.
Guests liked the polite, friendly staff, but they didn't always like their inability to communicate. Some staff spoke great English here, but others had trouble understanding basic words.
negative:
Uninviting lobby.
Guests thought that the lobby didn't do much for their overall impression of the hotel. A few who arrived early from long flights also weren't too happy about the limited seating and vigilant security guard who discouraged guests from doing things like eating and loitering.
