Those who spent two or more nights at the property had nothing but praises for the clean and comfortable beds. The queen size beds were spacious enough for two adults and the linens and overall bedding were fresh and spotlessly clean.
Due to its close proximity to the Gatineau Park and downtown Ottawa, guests enjoyed visiting the surrounding areas. The property is also closely situated to Costco, Lac Leamy Casino, banks, supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants, bars, and even strips clubs - all these are just a short walking distance away.
A decent Wi-Fi is very hard to come by these days, but surprisingly, this motel has strong and fast Internet speed. Wi-Fi access is easily available all throughout guests' stay even inside the rooms due to plenty of access spots. Moreover, there is also a computer provided for free use so guests did not have any issues with the Internet service.
The lack of available breakfast on-site was quite disappointing to guests. The motel did not serve full breakfast but only offered coffee at the lobby area. However, guests can checkout nearby restaurants such as Atelier.
Despite requesting for non-smoking rooms, most guests were annoyed with the stale smell of smoke coming from inside the rooms. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke which was very noticeable despite efforts of spraying deodorizers.
Aside from the broken vents, guests were also dismayed by the loud noise coming from the air-conditioning system especially during the night. The window type units can be quite noisy, so they had difficulty getting some proper sleep. Therefore, guests are advised to use earplugs.
