You’ll get a good night’s sleep as the beds are cozy with great bedding, and you won’t lack for amenities; you can keep snacks in the fridge and make coffee in the morning or while you work at the desk with free WiFi. Rooms are very clean (as is the entire hotel), including the bathrooms, which have awesome rainfall showerheads you’ll love. Also worth noting, many rooms have lovely scenic views of the ocean; book a room higher up if you can, it’s well worth it.
Hotel staff is friendly, always smiling and happy to answer questions. They will help with restaurant reservations, arrange rides and make sure you are charged correctly for cab fares. The breakfast is excellent, as is food at Fontanella Restaurant and the service is equally impressive. Overall, it really completes the experience and makes for a wonderful stay.
On occasion, the hot water for the shower doesn’t work very well and is only lukewarm.
The pool is under maintenance at times at Ramada Plaza Panama Punta Pacifica and unusable, a disappointment when you arrive unaware and can’t use it.
