Pets are welcome.
It’s wonderful that pets are allowed at this hotel, especially if you like to travel with your favourite canine companion. Your dog will love it too, because Paris is such a dog-friendly city and there are so many great walks to be had just outside your door.
positive:
This is a non-smoking hotel.
This is a non-smoking property which is great for those who don’t imbibe and like their surroundings smelling fresh, rather than like second-hand smoke. In addition, the fact that this property has recently undergone renovations means that no telltale signs of past, second-hand smoke are lurking about.
Negative Reviews
negative:
There’s no restaurant in the hotel.
There is no restaurant at Mercure Paris Opera Garnier Grands Boulevards which could be a bit of a drag. However, the Bar does serve a light menu and you also have room service at your disposal. If those options don’t work for you, you can always dine at Lo Zio, which serves Italian food, or any of the dozens of other restaurants and cafes located nearby.
negative:
Things can get noisy.
If you are looking for a quiet stay, be sure to book a room at the rear of the property, as the front of the hotel is subject to noise from the road despite the residential feel of the neighbourhood.
negative:
The rooms are small.
Many of the guest rooms here are a bit small. So if you are travelling with more than one person, have a lot of luggage in tow or need extra room to manoeuvre, be sure to mention this when booking.
