Under the gaze of Sacre Cœur
Guests love being so close to the famous artistic area of Montmartre. You can amble up to the incredible Sacre Cœur Basillica in five minutes and, if you're fortunate, you may even have an unbeatable view of it from your balcony! You have lots of traditional restaurants and café-bars nearby too as well as a few boulangeries - ideal for grabbing some breakfast in.
positive:
Useful kitchen facilities
Guests find it very handy to have a small kitchenette in their rooms. You can, at the very least, prepare yourself breakfast in the morning and maybe a lunchtime snack.
positive:
Value for money
If you're looking for somewhere clean and tidy and pleasant enough to stay in Paris, without breaking the bank, this place might be for you. Guests say whilst it is basic, it is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Minuscule rooms
Guests are amazed how compact some of the double rooms actually are. More like single-occupancy rooms, you have hardly any room to move around. However, compared to the size of some of the bathrooms, they may appear positively spacious! You may never have seen a bathroom so tiny in your life. Guests claim that it is quite a challenge to have a shower as you haven't even got the room to turn around!
negative:
Lots of street noise
Your sleep could be disturbed by noise coming from the streets outside. Guests say that the sound-proofing isn't very effective and you can hear people outside and also from the neighbourign rooms.
negative:
The area is a bit rough
Although
Montmartre is lovely and picturesque, much of the 18th
arrondissement is not so attractive. Many guests find it dirty, with
lots of dodgy people and pickpockets hanging around.
