Within easy walking distance there are plenty of different restaurants for you to have a bite to eat or enjoy a few drinks and there are also shopping malls close by should you wish to partake in some retail therapy. Downtown Jacksonville is around 30-minutes' drive away as are some beautiful beaches on Florida's east coast.

There are complimentary cookies available for guests in reception which is always a nice welcome after a hard day of traveling as is fresh coffee which is also available throughout the day. You will also find a lending library in reception with a good selection of books to keep you busy.

At breakfast you can make your own waffles with a choice of different toppings which is very popular amongst guests. Other breakfast items available are a continental choice with fresh fruit and pastries and a traditional cooked option with sausage, bacon and all the usual items.

According to reviews from previous guests the hotel is starting to look dated and really tired in places with rooms looking old, and the carpets in particular, however more recent reviews report that there have been some renovations and work is ongoing.
