The George's location, near the Union Station, is perfect if you're arriving by train. Foodies will delight in being walking distance to 7th Street, which has many great dining options. The National Mall, museums and monuments are also all easily reachable on foot.

The Wi-Fi is complimentary but tends to lose the signal often. When connected, the speed is very slow. However, premium Wi-Fi is available for a fee.

Several guests have complained about housekeeping never attending to their rooms. In addition, housekeeping is inattentive to details when cleaning. Requests were often delayed or forgotten.

There are a few rooms near a large AC unit, which can get loud when running. If this is bothersome, the management will happily switch you to a different room. Some guests also complained about the walls being too thin - neighbors and even the ice machine could be heard quite well. Most guests have had no complains about noise, however.
