Negative Reviews
negative:
Hot water issues
Several guests mentioned problems with regard to
hot water. A few guests had to either skip having a bath or had to take a cold
shower instead.
negative:
No lift, lots of stairs
The hotel rooms are ranged over several levels and there is no lift in the hotel. As such, guests have quite a few stairs to deal with. These present problems if there are mobility issues or heavy bags to be lugged up to the rooms.
negative:
Noisy
It is an old building and has its share of creaky stairs and other problems. The old walls mean that sounds from other rooms can carry into the rooms. Also, the rooms above the coffee house are noisier said guests. Some guests also felt that the restaurant was rather too noisy.
