The Royal Corin Thermal Water Spa & Resort (La Fortuna, Costa Rica)

The five-star on-site restaurant was given high marks by most guests who dined there. The fresh and good quality ingredients was undeniable. The good quality food offered was a memorable dining experience for many.

Most guests were amazed at the natural beauty surrounding the hotel and the amazing views of the Arenal Volcano. They enjoyed the peace and quiet of the hotel and its gardens. The common areas blended in nicely with nature.

The natural thermal waters and spa area of the hotel were given high marks by most guests. They were wild in being within a natural environment and were a fun, relaxing way of spending time. Most recommend the spa wholeheartedly.

The hotel was said to be in need of small renovations to keep a high standard image. The common areas felt old and tired and the deck around the pool was cracking. The tiles in the pool were also missing which needs fixing.

Guests complained the rooms smelled musty and of mildew and were not impressed with this. They felt uncomfortable in the rooms because of the smell and even if they tried to air it out, it would not go away.

Guests mentioned the hotel is catered to couple vacations rather than being for families. They recommend to look for more family-friendly spots in the area that allow children in the spa. It is more of a couple’s retreat given the lack of activities.
