Positive Reviews
positive:
Located in one of the city's best neighbourhoods
This hotel is in Roma Norte, which lies to the west of the Historic Centre. This vibrant and leafy district is filled with attractive architecture, parks, cafés, bars and restaurants, making it the ideal base. The area has frequent Metrobus stops and Metro stations so you'll find it easy to get around.
positive:
Economical and comfortable
You'll get value for money and a comfortable bed here. It's nothing special but you'll benefit from high quality linens and all the basics. The on-site restaurant provides a good breakfast if required, at additional cost.
positive:
Excellent Wi-Fi service
If you want to get online, you'll find the complimentary Wi-Fi service to be efficient and reliable. You'll get Wi-Fi in your room or suite and in some public areas.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Lower floors are too noisy
The hotel is right next to a main road, so accommodations on lower floors in particular suffer from noise disturbance. If you or members of your party are light sleepers, request an interior room or a room on one of the upper floors.
negative:
In need of refurbishment
The décor of the accommodations is a little dated and there is a lack of useful amenities such as refrigerator and minibar. Carpets smell musty and bathroom appliances may not work to their full potential.
negative:
Poor attitude to patrons
Few staff speak English and many are unfriendly, so don't expect a welcoming reception, or even a smile during your stay. You'll have to stand your ground to get any issues resolved and you may have to tip to get satisfactory services, like housekeeping.
