Guests who used the various spa facilities including the pool, steam rooms and the Jacuzzi said that they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The pool was said to be heated to a pleasant temperature and there were plenty of loungers were guests could relax after their swim.

The hotel is surrounded by extensive private gardens and countryside hence it’s not uncommon to spot rabbits and chickens roaming around on the lawn. Guests found the surroundings extremely relaxing and picturesque with many enjoying the countryside views from their guest rooms.

Noise from wedding parties.
Guests whose rooms were close to the function suite complained about the noise made by the wedding parties particularly the loud music which often lasted until the early hours. If you are keen on getting a good night’s sleep it’s advisable to check if any events are scheduled at the hotel prior to booking.

Limited choice on menus.
The choice of dishes on the restaurant menu was said to be rather limited and guests who stayed here for a few days said that the menus didn’t change. Some were disappointed at having to eat the same dish on more than one occasion.

The walls have been described by guests as being very thin as many could hear noise from the adjoining rooms as well as from the hotel corridors. Guests also complained about squeaky floor boards from the rooms above them.
