Positive Reviews
positive:

positive:
Rooms are really nice.
Overall, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with many modern amenities. The bathrooms are well-equipped, too. It's worth paying a bit more for the added luxury that comes with views of the palace or museum.
positive:
Good value for what you get.
The hotel amenities provide a good value for what you receive. You get your money's worth, plus some. The rooms are nice enough for extended stays and the larger rooms with the gorgeous views are priceless. Plus, the restaurant prices, and food quality, are a good value when compared to other restaurants in the area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Thick or thin?.
Even though you're in the middle of all the action, the rooms are quiet and relaxing...if you paid for the nicer rooms. The other rooms have no sound-proofing and appear to be separate by paper-thin walls. Everything can be heard through the walls at all hours of the night and day.
negative:
Standard is sub-standard.
The standard rooms without the upgrade just aren't as nice. Not only are there no views, but these rooms are stuffy and small and are prone to unpleasant smells. The lack of tea and coffee facilities can make the whole beginning of the day hard to bear.
negative:
A smile and shrug.
The staff appear to be friendly and welcoming when you check in, and then only smile and shrug if later problems come to light. The concern for real maintenance and housekeeping issues are lax and the staff appears generally indifferent. If you do have a problem, know there will be no real rush to fix it.
