Riverfront Motel & Villas’s on-site amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and BBQ area. Free newspapers are available at reception and Wi-Fi is also complimentary. The Restaurant & Bar is the place to enjoy a continental or cooked breakfast. Lunch and dinner menus are also served here as well as a selection of local wines and beers. A short walk, MONA showcases old and new art works and, a 14-minute drive, the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens feature beautiful local flora.

    This hotel offers an enviable location next to the River Derwent. Guests enjoy the stunning views over the river and love watching and feeding the ducks that live there.

    Guests are pleased with the prices they paid to stay here. The room rates compare favourably with other options in the area and represent a good budget choice. Guests are also pleased with the standard of cleanliness here, so it seems that the housekeeping staff does a good job maintaining the rooms and public areas.

    The food served in the on-site restaurant is highly praised. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menus offer delicious, well-cooked meals and guests also mention that everything is very reasonably priced.

    Accommodation perhaps needs updating

    Guests mention that the décor in some of the rooms and apartments at this hotel is starting to look a little dated. However, it seems that the hotel is in the process of updating the accommodation, so this process will hopefully be completed soon throughout.
