About Gennadi Gardens Apartments & Villas
The Gennadi Gardens Apartments & Villas offers fully equipped self catering apartments and villas to any size group jut 400 yards from beautiful Gennadi Beach.
The apartments and villas are well equipped, with everything you need for a beach break. They have fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning, satellite TV’s and hair dryers. Each also features at least two balconies, some with sea views.
The main focus is undoubtedly the pool terrace, with its sun beds and poolside bar. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
For those days when self-catering doesn’t appeal, the village of Gennadi, with its decent selection of cafes, bars and restaurants is just moments away.
The main focus is the hotel pool and the nearby beach, but further away you’ll find the Acropolis of Lindos, Rhodes’ most impressive archaeological site, 14.5 miles to the north. Diagoras Airport is 41 miles away.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Clean and well kept apartments and grounds
Many guests mention how clean their apartment or villa was, and also how well maintained the grounds were. They believe that the owner is very hands on and has great attention to detail. Everything was in tip top shape.
positive:
Great location for both village and beach
The complex isn't right on the beach, but it really isn't very far away - just a minute or two on foot. It is a bit closer to the village, and guests found that it was very convenient to just be able to stroll into town to pick up supplies, or ferret out one of the great cafes or restaurants.
positive:
Apartments surprisingly spacious
Guests were very happy to find that the apartment they received
was just as spacious as depicted in marketing pictures on the web. No guests
felt cramped, and considered the apartment more than large enough for their
party.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Unattractive approach to the complex
Unfortunately several guests mention that the approach, by road, to the apartment complex is quite unattractive. There are several dustbins that line the road, and these are often overturned, with litter flying about and feral cats on the prowl for scraps.
negative:
Tricky for those without a car
Though the apartments are close to the village and beach, they are very far from Diagoras Airport and Rhodes Town, and the location is perhaps a little remote. Some guests felt that if they didn't have a car to explore the island they would get a bit bored just staying in the complex and village.
negative:
Kitchen not well-equipped enough
Though not often mention, some guests did say that they found there were not enough pots, pans and dishes for the size of their party, which of course caused many unnecessary stints of washing up.
