Many seasoned travellers, who'd become all too accustomed to substandard and unvaried food at inclusive resorts, were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food served at Resort Rio. Negative Reviews
negative:
It may be a little overpriced.
While most guests loved their experience at Resort Rio, many did not find the accommodations quite up to five-star standards. They felt that the price of the rooms and the spa should have been lower, in order to be more in line with the quality.

Locals getting snubbed?.
Though the resort management disputes these claims, multiple reviews stated that foreign guests are given preferential treatment over locals. They complained of small snubs, such as not being offered water with their meal, or longer wait times for service.
negative:
Don't depend on the internet access.
There is free Wi-Fi available throughout the resort, but many travellers complained that they had trouble getting connected. Those that were able to access the Wi-Fi said it was abysmally slow.
