Take a gamble on the hotel bar...
Guests appreciate that the hotel bar is open late, particularly as there is little else by way of entertainment within walking distance. The poker machines, pool table, and reasonably priced drinks are all much appreciated, and the Italian food in the on site restaurant, Milano, also gets good reviews.
positive:

The reception staff have received many positive reviews for their welcoming and professional customer service. The wait staff in the restaurant also earn kudos, with guests noting they are able to provide cheerful and attentive service during the busiest times.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Life is a highway...
The hotel is directly off the Hume Highway, and guests in the front-facing rooms generally find traffic noise to be an issue. Light sleepers also note the hotel is popular with tour groups, and have been woken up by the sound of coach buses in the parking lot.
negative:
Rise and shine...
The plantation blinds do not keep out enough of the morning sun for those who like to sleep in, and heavy drapes would be much preferred.
negative:
No lounging by the pool...
Adult guests wish there was a little more seating around the pool to make supervising little ones more pleasant. Others have been disappointed to find the restaurant closed in the afternoon.
