Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient Locale
Superbly located less than an hour from downtown Philadelphia, near plenty of attractions and numerous restaurants, including Sesame Place within eleven miles. It's five minutes' drive from Parx Casino, directly off Interstate 276, and very easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. These pet-friendly accommodations are a welcome respite for those traveling with furry companions - there are many who stay here, so bring a candle if you can't tolerate the possible smell of dog. Very affordable.
positive:
Decent, Basic Rooms
Clean, cozy, no frills accommodations are found here. Simple furnishings include beds, televisions, adequate bathrooms and (possibly - although you may need to specifically request in advance) a microwave and refrigerator. Quietest units are in back facing away from the road. You may need to ask for more towels.
positive:
Friendly Staff
Helpful and charming staff are present from arrival to departure, always making you feel at home.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Lacking in Niceties
Some reported they found their rooms to be missing microwaves, refrigerators and coffee makers - and there was no coffee made for guests in the lobby either. The Wi-Fi is extremely slow, almost not even worth the try. Others were disappointed that the smell in their room wasn't fresh, either smelling like stale cigarettes or dogs.
negative:
Outdated Features
Door closures are poorly aligned, causing some to need to spend undue amounts of time securing the door. Bathroom fans are excessively noisy. Heat and air conditioning units are likely separate, even in renovated rooms. Heating facilities are ancient in most rooms and some found they needed additional heat from space heaters.
negative:
Poor Signage
You'll miss the entrance if you blink - or if you don't blink. There are two ramps involved in this process; map them out carefully ahead of time, especially if you'll be traveling after dark.
