The Elkhorn Lodge in Chama, NM has been host to guests from around the world for 66 years. The Elkhorn Lodge is situated on 8.5 acres of wooded landed, the Chama River runs along the western edge of the property with a great walking path along the river. At the Elkhorn you will find rooms with king beds, 2 queen beds and a variety of cabins and mobile homes. All rooms have flat screen TVs, a mini fridge and a coffee maker. There is a hot tub, a large fire pit, play area for children and corrals for your horses or llamas. We have a gift shop and a small general merchandise store including some fishing gear. Surround yourself with nature at the Elkhorn Lodge, a riverside cabin retreat in Northern New Mexico located on the Chama River. From hiking, hunting, fishing or just unwinding in the outdoors, our expansive and secluded property is the perfect place to begin your adventure, and time has proven it—we’ve been open for over seventy years. On our property, we have plenty of space for outdoor entertainment and grilling, a pavilion that’s perfect for events, and two corrals for guests with larger animals. As for accommodations, whether staying in one of our motel rooms, private cabins or perhaps your own secluded mobile home, each is comfortable and well-equipped for an effortless visit.
