Motel Best Western Gettysburg (Gettysburg, USA)

Guests who travel with pets mentioned that they really love this hotel. They, and their pets, are treated with respect and there's no additional fee, unlike other locations.

Visitors said one of the biggest selling points of the hotel is its location. It's smack dab in the middle of Gettysburg. So, many attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. It's also close to restaurants and eateries according to guests.

Visitors understand that this is not a resort location. The bulk of the travelers mentioned they were there to see Gettysburg; not spend their time relaxing the hotel, so for them, this location was perfect. Furthermore, when compared with other hotels nearby, the rates (and the amenities they received) are great for a budget hotel.

You won't find much depth in the breakfast choices that are available. Some guests mentioned that it's mainly oatmeal and cold cereal, so if you're expecting something a bit more like fruit or yogurt, you may be disappointed. A number of people said it was mediocre at best.

A number of guests mentioned that the hotel seems worn out. They cite old carpets, dated décor, uncomfortable mattresses and old TVs. According to some guests, it appears the hotel that has been updated in a decade or more.

If you like sipping coffee or tea in the morning in your PJs, you may be disappointed here. There are no in room facilities for coffee or tea. However, they do offer these items 24 hours a day; seven days a week in the hotel lobby. For some guests though, they found this to be an inconvenience.
