Very convenient for the airport
Many guests really appreciated being so close to the airport. Unlike many Maui resorts, which require a long ride to get to, right after an already exhausting flight from the mainland, guests enjoyed being able to get to their hotel quickly. They also appreciated the airport shuttle provided by the hotel.

Guests pointed out that the hotel was virtually opposite a decent size mall, as well as a number of great restaurants. They certainly didn’t feel boxed in at the resort, since it was an easy matter to get out for a meal or a bit of shopping.

Free DVD rental
Guests were very pleasantly surprise to discover that there was a machine in the lobby where they could rent DVD’s, and that the first rental was free. It really helped them out for the short times were they just wanted to relax a bit in their room and chill out.

In desperate need of a makeover
Guest really felt that the décor of both the rooms and public areas of the hotel really let the resort down. They felt that the décor was from another era and was in urgent need of an update.

A huge number of guests felt that they really didn’t receive good value for money. They simply believed that the high room rates they paid were in no way justified by the amenities and standard of the hotel.

Noisy road out front
Guests staying in rooms facing the road side commented that the road was a busy one, and that they could easily hear the noise of the cars zooming by. Of course this caused them some problems when trying to sleep.
