A respite from the city
Featuring stunning views of the Catalina Mountains and its peaceful canyons, you'll appreciate the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel, which is fostered by the spa and pools. Still, the hotel is just a short drive from the city and all its events and activities without the crowds and the racket of staying downtown.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Beware the early morning cobblestone
Some former guest noted that the hotel, while charming and bucolic in design, has a number of cobblestone walkways connecting the rooms. Visitors staying along these footpaths were often roused from slumber by early arrivals and their luggage. As a result, they recommend earplugs.
negative:
Ordering from the pool can be a hassle
Normally thought of as a convenience, some guests found ordering food to their poolside table somewhat frustrating. They mentioned long delays before their food arrived, as well as difficulty getting ahold of the wait staff for additional items or drinks.
negative:
Pricey meals and little fees
Although the hotel is situated in a gorgeous spot and features high-end amenities, some guests felt their meals at the restaurant were overpriced. Other former visitors also noted how daily fees for the Wi-Fi, parking, shuttle service, and the gym added up quickly.
