    Guests at Lindner City Plaza Köln found the breakfast buffet selection to be fantastic, with the waffle area and other cooked options proving especially popular.

    Comfortable facilities, first class lounge.

    The facilities here were found to be very good, from the comfortable beds and air conditioning in the large, clean and airy rooms, to the great gym and fitness centre guests could use for free. Those who opted for the first class lounge upgrade considered it to be worth it, particularly due to the great assortment of food and drinks on offer at all times.

    Location for walking, shopping, entertainment.

    All of the main tourist attractions in Cologne, including the Kölner Dom cathedral, are within walking distance from the hotel and you will find plenty of bars, cafes and shops in the immediate area.

    No free Wi-Fi.

    Many of those who stayed at Lindner City Plaza Köln were unhappy to find that the Wi-Fi was not free — and at that, rather expensive — but it appears this may be offered as a complimentary service from 2016.

    Breakfast, parking, water in fridge expensive.

    The fact that the pricey breakfast was not included in the price of staying, that the parking was expensive, and that any water taken from the fridge was added to the hotel bill, were points of contention for some guests.
