Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel (Montréal, Canada)

For most guests, the downtown Montreal location was the best thing about Le Centre Sheraton. Just across the road from the Bell Centre sports and entertainment complex, the hotel was described as the perfect base for exploring the city. Guests loved walking to nearby shops and restaurants and to Old Montreal.

From the valet service and reception desk to the attractive and well appointed rooms to the city views from the 37th floor Sheraton Club Lounge, the hotel earned raves from most guests. Many had stayed numerous times over the years, others were first time visitors, but most said they would definitely return.

The hotel's fitness facility scored high marks with guests who described it as superb and comparable to gyms in private clubs. Guests appreciated the range of well-maintained equipment and the clean and attractive area.

Some guests were unhappy with additional charges for parking and Wi-Fi access which they described as overly expensive; others felt that such services should be complimentary in a higher price hotel such as the Le Centre Sheraton. The lack of complimentary drinks in the club lounge was also noted.

Various problems with the hotel's bathrooms were reported including improperly draining bathtubs and showers, non adjustable shower heads and poor water pressure.

While most guests had few complaints about the hotel's overall appearance and comfort some described Le Centre Sheraton as showing signs of age. Guests disturbed by noisy neighbors said that modern insulation between rooms would create a more restful environment while others noted it was time for the hotel to replace thin and uncomfortable mattresses.
