Very nice kitchenettes
Most guests really seemed to appreciate having the little kitchenettes available, even if they never used them to prepare a full meal. They were said to be well equipped, with the right umber of utensils, plates and so on for the number of people booked in.
positive:
Decent rates for the Bay area
While guests didn’t exactly find the room rates to be cheap, they conceded that it was in a fairly convenient location in the Bay area, where rates are known to be very sky high. They found the prices at this hotel to be on the lower side for the area.
positive:
Great location
While hardly at the very heart of the Bay area, guests did find the hotel to be a convenient base when traveling in the area. San Jose, Palo Alto and other locations in Silicon Valley were said to be within easy reach of the hotel.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast room much too small
A great many guests mentioned in their reviews that they thought the breakfast room was much too small. It seemed crowded at normal times, so guests believed that when the hotel had a full-house the room would be unbearable.
negative:
Expensive mini-mart
The hotel has a small area were drinks, snacks and so on can be purchased. A number of guests pointed out that it was quite expensive, especially for items that would usually be very cheap elsewhere, like bottled water.
negative:
Extra charge for pets
While pets are allowed at the hotel, it does charge an extra fee, both a once off cleaning fee and a per night fee. It seems some pet-owners were unaware of the extra charges and were somewhat shocked with what they regarded as excessive fees.
