Easily accessible via the A30/A38, this hotel is a great place to hang your hat if you’re travelling in Cornwall, especially if you like to golf. Close to lots of historic sights and great places to walk, hike and bike, you are also a short drive from the coast and from the charming town of Bodmin.
A warm, knowledgeable staff welcomes you in and is there for you throughout your stay. They are happy to accommodate most any request and point you in the direction of local sights and great places to dine.
Other than service animals, Lanhydrock does not allow pets. This is unfortunate for those who are fond of travelling with their favourite canine companions.
The service can be a bit slow in the restaurant and bar, especially during peak season and on weekends. The good news is that once you have been seated and served, you’ll find it was worth the wait.
Things can get stuffy in the guest rooms during warm weather, as they do not have air conditioning, not are there any small windows to open for the sake of a breeze. The patio/balcony doors do open, which can bring some relief, but if it’s hot outside this may make things worse.
