Uros Suma Jakaña Lodge offers you a unique experience in our experiential tourism lodge located 4.74 km from the port of Puno, offering a series of activities typical of the place (fishing, collecting totora, basic knowledge of the culture of the Uros). The experience that is lived every day on the island is unique for many since the island is made from aquatic plants from the area, also surrounded by the same plant with a spectacular view at sunrise and sunset. At night you can see the stars and the brilliant city of Puno, the folkloric capital of Peru. Uros Floating Islands The Uros Floating Islands are located on Lake Titicaca and are made up of 4 groups, Urus Puno, Kapi Floating Islands, Urus Titino and Uros Chulluni. The latter is located on the shores of the lake and is the largest. There are approximately 80 islands, the same ones that are of habitable surfaces built of totora, an aquatic plant that grows on the surface of Lake Titicaca. Generally, each island belongs to a family clan and is inhabited by 3 to 10 families.
