positive:
Quick and efficient.
The members of staff at Chaucer Hotel are efficient with the check-in, making the oftentimes tedious process a quick and painless one. Housekeeping is done while one is out and about, so guests will return from a busy day out to a clean room, removing that little bit of added stress.
positive:
Warm rooms.
Winter can be beautiful, but if one has to sleep in a cold room, Winter becomes one's worst nightmare. At Chaucer Hotel, guests will find their rooms warm, and inviting, especially during the worst of a British Winter.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Limited parking.
With a near central location, the parking is limited. Unfortunately, this means that guests will have the worry of having to find parking if they do not find one at the hotel. This can be a problem, especially if one ends up parking in a metered area.
negative:
No elevator.
Due it's listed building status, there is no elevator, and guests with a lot of luggage will not find this fact appealing. Luckily, the staff are always ready and willing to assist wherever they can, and will help with carrying.
negative:
Not all have bathtubs.
For those who love to indulge in a soak, the lack of a bathtub can be a problem. These guests are recommended to request a room with a tub, as not all of them are fitted with one, and have a shower only.
