The staff that work here are extremely helpful and you won't have to ask twice for anything at all. The service is top class and although there's a bit of a cheap hotel feel to the place, the staff more than make up for this.

If you like your mother's cooking, then you'll love eating at this place where all the traditional favourites are on the menu. Everything is cooked to perfection and the portions are very generous. Great value for money at mealtimes.

The rooms at this small hotel are very clean as the housekeeping staff obviously take a lot of pride in their work. They are quite old fashioned but you won't find a speck of dust anywhere during your stay.

Although the rooms are comfortable, there are some guests that found that they were a little lacking in amenities. They felt that for the price they paid there should have been more modern amenities in the room such as a radio or hair dryer.

Yes, this is an old building but this doesn't mean that the rooms have to look so old too. In fact, most of the furniture throughout the pub and rooms is very old but not in an antique kind of way. It's getting a little bit shabby, to be honest.

Some rooms don't have great access to the internet as the signal from wherever the Wi-Fi is based isn't strong enough. You'll have to make sure that you have no important emails or work to do during your stay just in case you can't get online.
