In general, the hotels under The Ritz-Carlton chain provide excellent customer service. However, the staff at the bar seems to go away from the typical standards. Most of them are confused and you have to wait for 15 to 25 minutes just for the drinks. The management really needs to train the servers more.

Some showers emit weak currents of water. Others have loose handles, which cause minor leaks. There are times when hot water runs out. You also have to flush the toilet more than once since the pressure is not strong enough. If you come across any of these problems, the repairman will fix it as soon as possible.

Rooms smell of smoke
Some rooms smell like smoke. Some bathrooms have strong musty smells. Thus, you are encouraged to ask the housekeepers to put up air fresheners and open the windows to get rid of the smell. In case you can't transfer to another room, the hotel gives you gift certificates for the trouble.
