Positive Reviews
positive:
Gorgeous location
The location of this resort holds plenty of appeal. Step outside and you'll be in the heart of a UNESCO world heritage site. You might don your skis or head off on a hike along the Hoodoo Trail. Prefer to take life at a slower place? Relax in the hot tub and soak up the view of the surrounding mountains.
positive:
Spacious yet cozy condos
The majority of guests are pleased by the standard of the condos, often describing them as spacious yet cozy. They are nicely decorated and equipped with a decent choice of amenities. The wood burning fireplaces are a particular treat.
positive:
Good service from staff
The service attracts an impressive amount of positive feedback from guests, most of whom describe the staff as eager to please. The housekeeping team seems to have everything running smoothly, with very few guests reporting issues in this area. Plus, the front desk staff is happy to help with itineraries.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Public transport issues
Several guests mention that the public transport in the area is poor. Buses often seem to skip the stop nearest to the resort. Hence, you may end up walking into Banff (30 to 40 minutes). It seems that a car would be beneficial here.
negative:
Poorly organized parking
Guests often found someone else's car parked outside of their allocated accommodation and were subsequently forced to park elsewhere (sometimes far away). It seems odd that the spaces outside specific condos are not reserved for the occupants.
negative:
Some noise concerns
Negative comments about the noise level are fairly frequent. Condos near the barbecue area seem to be the worst affected, due to large groups of people congregating together. Unfortunately, despite the staff being friendly, they don't seem to do much to address this issue.
