Positive Reviews
positive:
Simply perfect catering.
You can't fault the food here, nor the quality and choices available. Simply perfect! Most guests spend their time on the beach at the Divi resort before returning to the Tam. This 'journey' is via either a short walk, or the regular shuttle service. Wherever you dine, though, the food is exceptional.
positive:
Everyone has ocean views!
No worries about the outlook from your room. They all have sensational views over the sea. They culminate in a glorious sunset and a romantic conclusion to yet another perfect day.
positive:
Low rise, but high expectations.
The high rise accommodation at Palm Beach/Eagle Beach, about 5 miles from Oranjestad, is fine for party lovers who thrive on noise. But, for peace, quiet and real quality time, the low rise accommodation at Tamarijn Aruba .. is the ideal solution..
Negative Reviews
negative:
A sea of rubbish!
Yes, you can see the sea, but you can also see, outside your window, long standing accumulations of rubbish. No-one shifts those discarded ashtrays, bottles, paper etc. Don't see this mess in the brochures!
negative:
Where's the staff?
There's no support staff to administer 'activities'. In this self proclaimed haven of luxury, you don't expect to get off the sunbed to get your own refreshments because waiting on staff are an extinct species ... nowhere to be seen! Food is OK, but nothing special. Certainly not as good as they suggest.
negative:
Welcome to middle notch.
No, not top notch. In top notch accommodation, everything would be provided and of course, fundamentals such as WiFi would be free. Here, you pay through the nose for something that is, at best, unreliable.
