An attractive alpine chalet residence, family-run Hotel Stella offers rooms in French village Les Gets, not far from the Swiss border. It’s an ideal base from which to explore the famous Portes du Soleil skiing area. The traditionally styled rooms each benefit from soundproofing and feature an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a toilet. There’s also a television for entertainment and free Wi-Fi is provided. Hotel Stella offers a large on-site car park and a computer and printer are located in a corner of reception. While there, guests can also request airport and station transfers and purchase ski passes. At the beginning of the day, a hearty buffet breakfast is served in the dining room and, a three-minute walk, Restaurant Le Tyrol cooks up burgers, pizzas and gooey, cheesy fondues. The nearest ski slopes and lifts are only three minutes away from the hotel on foot. For a change from winter sports, Les Gets Golf Course is a nine-minute drive.
