positive:
The guest rooms are clean and spacious
The guest rooms at this non-smoking B&B are spotlessly clean and spacious. And the comfortable beds are made up with luxurious bedding, the large showers and fluffy towels add to the comfort quotient.
positive:
Pets are welcome here
This B&B accepts pets which is great for those who like to go on holiday with their favourite canine companions. However, if your dog does not like cats, you should be advised that there is a kitty in residence here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not centrally located
St. George's Bed and Breakfast is located on a quiet street in a residential area which is 15 minutes' walk from York's city centre. If you want to be in the middles of the action then this establishment may be too far afield for your tastes.
negative:
The rooms can be cold
This is an older building and as such, the guest rooms can be a bit cold in the winter months, even when the radiator is at full blast. You won't freeze, but you might want to bring along an extra sweater.
negative:
Parking is tight
The car park on property is small and may prove difficult to navigate. This ciuld be problematic if you drive a large vehicle.
