This great value accommodation is within walking distance of a main calendar event, The Stampede! Throughout the year, though it’s unusual  to find that there isn’t something lined up at this busy entertainment venue.

Following the sense of gloom that is experienced as you approach the main entrance, things pick up considerably. Members of staff are very welcoming and eager to sort out any queries and the room itself seems fine. The budget cost seems to be substantially less than that charged by competitors. You’ll probably leave here very happy to return in the near future.

This is a well established pub in an out of the way part of town. One specialty is some excellent live music shows. These attract visiting guests as well as a steady stream of locals. The secondary draw comes in the form of great value food and drink and the Canadian and Chinese dishes go down a treat.

The pub is a Mecca for entertainment and events. Consequently, resident guests should expect something of a noise problem. There is, though, hardly any at all. However, rooms across the street from the main pub building are said to be better for light sleepers.

This is primarily a quite noisy and very dingy pub. Guest accommodation is a secondary activity. Rooms aren’t cleaned on a regular basis, if at all. The few staff members that you see though appear to be over-worked. This comes to light at check-out which is a long and arduous process.

Non-smoking rooms stink of long-established tobacco smells and haven't been troubled by visits from the cleaner.
