The guest rooms offer spectacular countryside views. In particular, guests loved that it was dark enough at night to enjoy some really great star-gazing and that they could see the red rock formations from their rooms.
There is a lot to do in the area surrounding the lodge. Guests enjoyed taking on the mountain trails on foot or on hired mountain bicycles. The well-known Bell Rock is a short five-minute walk from the lodge and the area offers peace and relaxing away from city life.
