Positive Reviews
positive:
Top of the bill near the Musical Theatre.
Away from the tourist rat-run, the apartment is clean, bright and airy. Not glitzy or glamorous, but very attractively priced accommodation that's within yards of shops, bars, restaurants, metro … and the Musical Theatre. Bravo!
positive:
Friendly and flexible.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They aren't ‘money grabbing' and they are happy to store your luggage free of charge. Breakfast is also free. Pretty basic and served in your room, but it serves its purpose and saves you the cost of buying breakfast elsewhere. If, though, it's not for you; there is a well-stocked supermarket around the corner, so you can do your own thing and still stay within budget.
positive:
Now, that's 'convenience food'!
Everything is on the door step of this city centre accommodation; restaurants, bars, shops, transport … Even the ground floor of the premises is a great value pizzeria. Can't beat that!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Lacking the power.
There is a lack of power points in the room. In fact, there's only one. Wi-Fi is weak in the room but OK in other areas.
negative:
An air-con nightmare.
The place lacks air conditioning too; a real problem during the long hot summer months. It's easy to dismiss this as an inconvenience but, in the summer heat, air conditioning is an essential factor. The people who run this place are friendly though. If you ask, they will supply a fan.
negative:
Problems with the neighbours.
The room is OK but there's no sound insulation to protect you from the noise the next-door neighbours make. It's probably those same people who leave the shower and toilet in such a mess. Would it cost so much more to stay in a traditional B&B with en-suite facilities? Actually, no - it wouldn't!
