positive:
Great breakfast.
Guests who weren't typically fans of hotel breakfasts were pleasantly surprised by the morning spread at the Quality Inn & Suites North Myrtle Beach. Eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries and yogurt were a great start to the day.
positive:
Staying connected
Hassle-free Wi-Fi that stays connected seems to be a rarity in hotels, but guests loved that they could surf the Web without a break in service.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Minor wear and tear.
Rooms seemed dated, according to a number of guests. Older furnishings and carpet were starting to show their age, and might have been overdue for a replacement. While rooms were generally cleaned to a high standard, guests felt that replacing a few items would have been a nice touch.
negative:
Swimming pool could be better.
The pool at this hotel left a bit to be desired. Located in the parking lot, it lacked the ambience of other swimming pools in sunny North Myrtle Beach. Some guests also felt that leaves and debris weren't cleaned as quickly or regularly as they should have been in the pool that was also on the small side.
negative:
Smoky for some.
The smell of smoke was a real downer for guests of this hotel that describes itself as smoke-free. Guests felt that air fresheners and other scented products were being used to cover up smoky rooms and common areas. Guests sensitive to smoke might not enjoy their stay based on the smoking policy being loosely enforced.
