Hotel Prado do Golf (Vilamoura, Portugal)

This is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay at, perfectly situated for quiet relaxation, and yet also near enough to the golf courses and popular sites of interest. All ages are treated well, and the kids' pool area is a nice spot for younger ones to safely enjoy their stay. The friendly atmosphere makes everyone feel like one big family all appreciating the Algarve.

The food served onsite is nicely prepared, in generous proportions, and quite appealing to many ex-pats. The dishes are also priced fairly,which adds to the appeal of staying at the resort, rather than dining elsewhere. Staff are equally as lovely, bringing smiles and pleasantries with the service, and making for an enjoyable holiday.

There's a quaintness about the flats at Prado do Golf, which many find charming. They're spacious, with sufficient kitchen facilities and cosy furnishings. Coupled with the amazing views, the accommodations are relaxing and comfortable.

For the prices and the luxuriant setting, the décor and furnishings should be refreshed. Bolder and brighter colours, details, and textures, and a more modernised ambience would make the costs more worth it, and add a more aesthetically pleasing experience.

Although the atmosphere is one of tranquillity and getting away from everything, there should be Wi-Fi in the flats. Not everyone likes having to go to the pool or another public setting to get a signal.

A minor grievance, but walking to the marina is longer than preferred. The location would be just a bit better if it was closer.
