Positive Reviews
positive:
The spa is wonderful.
There’s nothing like adding a spa day to your holiday agenda, especially when you can have that spa treatment and then just head back to your room for a cat nap. And with the addition of indoor and outdoor pools as well as a Jacuzzi at your disposal, it's easy stay relaxed for the duration of your stay.
positive:
Pets are welcome.
It’s wonderful that pets are allowed at Polurrian Bay, especially if you like to travel with your favourite canine companion. Your dog will love it too, because there are so many great walks to be had nearby.
positive:
This is a non-smoking hotel.
This is a non-smoking property which is great for those who don’t imbibe and like their room smelling fresh rather than second hand smoke.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some rooms are small.
Some of the guest rooms are smaller than others at Polurrian Bay. So if you are travelling with more than one person, are travelling with a lot of luggage or need extra room to maneuver, be sure to ask for a larger room upon booking.
negative:
Things can get noisy.
The walls are thin here which means you can hear the goings on in your neighbors room quite clearly. Also, the fact that this is a popular family destination, makes for a crowded and often noisy stay.
negative:
The hotel seems more kid friendly than adult friendly.
If you are travelling with your family, you’ll probably appreciate the fact that this is such a kid friendly place. But if you are single or travelling with other adults, you may not feel the same way. There are always lots of children running around the dining room, especially during Afternoon Tea when a nanny service is provided, and the halls and grounds ring with children’s voices at all hours. If you are looking for a quiet stay which is geared more for adults than children, this might not be the place for you.
