Super Soundproofed RoomsSuper Soundproofed Rooms.
Rooms are very spacious, soundproofed and have an airy feel. They’re furnished with modern furniture and fittings and the bathrooms are equally modern with a large bath. Rooms with sea views in particular offer a feast for the eyes with a stunning view over the bay and with some of the sea and Castillo de San Sebastian.
positive:
Secure Parking Available.
There is a car park situated underneath the hotel. This is paid for as extra, but is secure and offers peace of mind for those travelling in or through Cádiz by car or motorbike.
positive:
Stunning Location by Sea in Old Town.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Cádiz Old Town. While the hotel is very modern in its design, it manages to fit well into the older architectural landscape. Some rooms offer sea views, from others the lush Botanic Gardens. There are ample bars and restaurants just a short walk from the accommodation.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Restaurant is So-So.
The food in the restaurant is okay, rather than wonderful and there are far many more superior places to eat within a short walk from the hotel. However, the breakfast buffet is, in contrast to other meals, superb.
negative:
Distant Staff.
The staff working in the hotel can be a little distant and don’t engage with guests as much as those staying in the hotel would like. Some feel that if only the staff were a little more friendly that it would add immensely to an otherwise, overall, positive experience.
negative:
Over-Designed Rooms.
Some felt that the modern rooms had too much focus on design without practicality or functionality. Lights hang low and people must stoop to avoid them. There are sliding glass panels on the walls, mood lighting, yet little hanging space for clothes and storage space for suitcases.
