A number of guests complained about the walls which appeared to be too thin. Noise from television sets and loud conversations carried easily from room to room and those who were light sleepers could not have a peaceful night's rest.

A number of guests were dismayed to discover the lack of what they considered to be basic necessities, such as microwaves, in some of the hotel's rooms. Those who were affected were of the opinion that such facilities should be a staple in all guestrooms in this day and age especially because the hotel provided room service only during limited hours.
