Positive Reviews
positive:
Sea views will take your breath away.
The hotel’s beach front location benefits from impressive sea views which have been described as breath-taking. The old town is just two minutes away and the new town with its lively nightlife and many bars, clubs and restaurants is a short taxi trip away or 20-minutes by foot. The immediate area is quiet and peaceful and the hotel doesn’t have large groups of young guests on stag or hen dos. The location is also convenient for airport transfers.
positive:
Hardworking housekeeping staff.
The staff work hard to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel and in rooms. Some members of staff have been mentioned by name for going the extra mile to ensure that guests have an enjoyable stay.
positive:
Lucky enough to get an upgrade.
The hotel is really good value for money with some guests reporting that they were surprised to receive a free upgrade which made their stay even more pleasurable.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not many English people.
Many of the other guests are Spanish and the hotel is mainly aimed at them. This received some negative reviews, whereas others reported that they integrated well despite the language barrier and were made to feel very welcome by their fellow guests.
negative:
You may struggle to access Wi-Fi.
You may struggle to get a Wi-Fi connection as the signal is quite pool and cut out regularly. This is especially the case if you are staying on higher floors.
negative:
Busy at breakfast.
The buffet restaurant can be busy at breakfast time and it can all feel quite hectic. The food isn’t always topped up as often as it could be meaning waiting around when you want to sit down and eat.
