Monkey Thorn Guest Lodge is set in six hectares of indigenous gardens on the outskirts of White River, a quaint town located within easy reach of Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route. There are nine private guests suites all with there own patio. A main lodge building that hosts the restaurant and lounge/bar area and a large veranda. A pool lapa and boma area is set away from the guest suites for our guests to enjoy. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and there is a cold buffet with a selection of fruits, yogurts, muffins, cereals and juices with hot food cooked to order. All the suites are large, 64m squared and open plan and are furnished with a king-size bed which can be converted to twin beds, there is a living area that has a couch for TV viewing (50 channels) . Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a rain shower. Additional facilities include air-conditioning, safe, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries. We are located 25km from the Kruger international Airport and 35km from the Kruger national park. Also within a 50km radius there are numerous sites that can be found on the panoramic route. So the Lodge is perfect for visiting in the Lowveld as we are central to everything.
