Positive Reviews
positive:
Good location near the main train station
Guests seemed pretty happy with the location of the hotel. They described it as very central, and so easy to walk to the Kasbah and other central attractions. Those arriving and departing by train seemed happiest, since the hotel is almost right opposite the main station.
positive:
Friendly and approachable staff
Guests generally only had good things to say about the hotel’s staff. They were described as friendly and approachable, and always willing to help out their guests when they were able to.
positive:
Nice hammam and pool
These were clearly guest’s favourite amenities. The whole pool area and hamman were said to be very nice and offer a great place to relax and de-stress after a day in the busting heart of the city.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Cleanliness could definitely be improved
There were far too many complaints about unclean rooms for comfort. While the specific complaints were sometimes relatively minor, like dust here and there, some guests also complained about more serious issues like unclean sheets, hair in the bathroom and so on.
negative:
Doesn’t meet its star rating
Too many guests to mention were adamant that the hotel simply didn’t meet the standards required for the star rating it possesses. It wasn’t a subtle point with the guests, with most saying they regarded it as a budget place, rather than a mid-range hotel. As for its luxury rating, guests felt that was simply a ridiculous classification.
negative:
Very poor onsite restaurant
It was pretty much impossible to find a kind word written about the onsite restaurant. Guests mentioned that not only was the food terrible, but it was overpriced as well.
