Guests were very pleased by the hotel restaurants, breakfast menus. The items were diverse and expertly prepared. The tables are all well placed and there was also plenty of seating space available.

Musty smell in the rooms, corridors and bathrooms
A few guests noted a damp and oppressive smell in some areas of the hotel such as the bathrooms and the corridors. The odour did not seem to go away despite the presence of the air conditioner being on.

Some guests complained about the state of the bathrooms. A number of showerheads and taps needed replacing as they were rusty and old. A few complained about the old fittings and the weak water pressure when taking a shower.

A number of guests have complained about the undesirable level of noise during their stay at the hotel. They felt that the walls might have been a bit too thin as it was very easy for sound to carry from room to room. This was quite distressing especially if you were trying to fall asleep at night.
