Hotel Marbella Playa (Marbella, Spain)

Playa Senator Marbella sports modern décor with very well appointed rooms. The rooms are large, airy, and meticulously clean. The upper floors provide stunning views of the mountains and the sea. The spa area is simply excellent while the rooftop is great for sunbathing.

Many guests who have visited here have been thrilled by the hotel’s water facilities consisting of the swimming pools, hot tubs, and sauna all of which sport great design and provide hours of endless fun and relaxation.

The hotel staff is very warm and amicable, always eager to help guests make the most of their visits here. The reception staff is very accommodating and helps guests with suggestions about the best places in town to eat, bus timetables, and local tourist hotspots such as Torremolinos and Puerta Banus that won’t burn a hole in your pocket.

While many guests have enjoyed using the hotel’s water facilities, several have reported that the gym is rather poorly equipped with only three machines, no treadmill, no entertainment facilities such as TVs, and no air conditioning.

Some guests have complained that the hotel does not have standby repair staff to promptly repair things like broken down air conditioning systems, faulty electrical appliances, or Wi-Fi problems.

Though the hotel provides good breakfasts in the lounge, a few guests have opined that the menu needs to be a bit wider to include more dishes and avoid becoming monotonous.
