The House's locally-rooted design tells the story of a worldly innkeeper's humble abode. Built in the 1830s by Captain Robert Calder, the Federal-style mansion welcomed its first guests in the 1870s. Today, our House is a lush garden sanctuary filled with the island's native botany and an air of coastal nonchalance, while Le Labo Bath amenities, Revival linens, and Marshall speakers make our remote retreat feel like home. "The locals call it ""Town"" for short, and you can, too. Nantucket Town is the only place in the US where the entire area is a National Historic Landmark.
