Positive Reviews
positive:
Decent value for money
Guests mentioned that the room rates here were quite a bit lower than at the resort style properties on the beach. Combined with the fact that most found their accommodation to be perfectly adequate, they seemed to feel that they had received decent value for money.
positive:
Convenient for the golf course
A few guests mentioned that the hotel is right across from a golf course, so that those interested in playing a round or two would be well placed to be able to do so.
positive:
Very spacious suites
Guests tended to be very pleasantly surprised when first viewing their suites, saying that they were quite a bit more spacious than they were expecting.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit far from the beaches
While gofers certainly liked the location, guests were more typically after a beach experience. Many reported that the hotel was some distance from the beach - perhaps a bit more than 30 minutes on foot. It seems these guests felt stranded, since it involved quite a bit of planning and hassle every time they wanted to head down to the beach.
negative:
Very basic kitchen facilities
Guests were not very impressed with the kitchen facilities available in their units, even those with larger two and three bedroom apartments. They felt that they had only the very bare minimum in terms of equipment and crockery, cutlery and so on.
negative:
Rooms are a bit too basic
Many guests did not like the stripped down and basic nature if the rooms. They felt that they lacked both practical furniture, such as chairs, as well as décor that could have made them a bit more attractive.
