For guests who like to walk this hotel offers plenty to see. It’s a 20-minute walk to everything you would want to see in Florence. For those who’d rather not walk, the bus station is 3-minutes away and you can catch a ride into town or just about anywhere you want to go.

The hotel is about 700m from the train station but some guests say it’s not an easy walk, especially with luggage. Grab a cab if you’re tired or have a lot of luggage.

Bathrooms here are small, especially the showers. Some travellers say they can hear other guests in adjacent rooms because the walls are rather thin. Light sleepers say earplugs help block out the noise.

The hotel has a lift but guests say it’s old and very noisy. If you’d prefer a quiet room, request one facing the back of the property, away from the lift.
